Six disciplines,
one quality standard.
New builds and repair, GRP and timber, one-off boats and production tooling. Most of it happens in the same workshop, often on the same week.

New Builds
One-off hulls in GRP or composite sandwich construction, built to a naval architect’s drawings or worked up from a client brief. We’ve built everything from a fifteen-metre catamaran to expedition rowing boats designed to survive an ocean crossing — the same lofting, lamination and finishing standards apply regardless of scale.
- Hand lay-up and vacuum-infused GRP construction
- Composite sandwich hulls, decks and structural panels
- Build supervision against class or owner specification
- Finishing, fairing and paint or gelcoat systems

GRP Construction & Repair
Structural GRP repair, hull skinning, osmosis treatment and gelcoat or paint finishing, on everything from a cracked topside to a full re-skin. Large or small, the panel is laid up and tested to hold the same laminate specification as the original build.
- Structural and cosmetic hull repair
- Hull skinning and osmosis treatment
- Gelcoat, antifouling and topside paint systems
- Fairing and finishing to a show or working standard
TIM / 03
Traditional Timber
Carvel and clinker repair, teak deck replacement and structural timber work on classic and working boats, carried out alongside our composite work rather than farmed out to a separate yard.
- Carvel and clinker hull repair
- Teak deck replacement and caulking
- Structural timber replacement — frames, stringers, keelsons
- Restoration of classic and traditionally-built craft

Moulds & Tooling
Plugs and production moulds for marine, automotive and architectural parts. We’ve built tooling for everything from chimney pots and sinks to Range Rover body panels — the discipline is the same as building a hull mould: an accurate plug, a stable tool, and a part that comes off it to tolerance every time.
- Plug and pattern making
- Production and prototype mould construction
- Automotive and architectural composite tooling
- Tool maintenance and refurbishment

Project Management & Consultancy
Construction supervision, refit management and quality control for projects being built or refitted through a third-party yard, plus consultancy where you need experienced eyes on a build before it goes wrong rather than after.
- Construction and build supervision
- Refit and project management
- Independent quality control and inspection
- Technical consultancy on materials and process

Development & Testing
Composite panels laid up and tested to a technical specification, for clients developing new materials, resin systems or products who need a competent hand laying up trial panels rather than a full production line.
- Trial panel lay-up to a given specification
- Material and process trials for new composite products
- Small-batch development runs
