Row to the Pole

Named the Old Pulteney, Row to the Pole, this boat was built for an expedition to the Magnetic North Pole led by Scots adventurer Jock Wishart, working with the team at Rossiter Yachts in Christchurch, Dorset.

In July and August 2011, a six-man crew set off from Resolute Bay with the aim of rowing roughly 450 miles to reach the Magnetic North Pole at 78°35.724′N, 104°11.915′W — a position certified in 1996.
