Shackleton

Shackleton was commissioned by a couple of keen adventurers who wanted a boat they could tow behind a car to rivers, lakes and coastal stretches across Europe. She’s built to the same specification as our ocean rowing boats, developed from the Philip Morris–designed boats behind several successful ocean crossings, but with extra storage and the comforts of a boat meant for touring rather than racing.

After discussion with the owners, we added a gaff rig and a small inboard engine, so she can be rowed, sailed, or motored — useful for threading narrow channels and coming alongside to moor.
